Are you obsessed with your work and feel like you can never turn it off, but simultaneously feel exhausted and desperate for a break?
Do you make things at work or home more complicated than they need to be and wonder why you can’t stop?
Do you feel guilty when you’re taking a break (or dreaming of taking a break)?
Are you trying to prove your value through how much you do?

Do Less, the book by Kate Northrup
The way we’re working isn’t working.
Since my new book, Do Less, came out a few weeks ago, I’ve been flooded with women’s stories of working unsustainably and needing to find a better way.
This looks like...
Taking on all of the household responsibilities and resenting partners and children for not contributing while simultaneously not asking them to, nor giving them any reason to because we think we’re the only ones who can do it right or that it’s just our job.
Pushing through every sign of fatigue or physical need because we feel the need to prove our value through being busy and in action at all times, both at work and at home.
Not getting up from our desks to eat or use the bathroom because “just one more email” keeps running through our minds all day.
Jumping from one project to the next, not fully completing what we started, and never taking the time to pause so we can improve upon our efforts or even analyze whether what we’re doing is creating results.

When left to our own devices, we all do too much, including me.
We’ve been programmed to believe that if we want better results, we have to put in more hours and more energy.

Here’s what I’ve discovered in my research: The data simply doesn’t support that belief.
It’s time for us to change the way we work
without sacrificing our results (or wellbeing).
A change that results in
saving
time
improving
results
reducing
stress

Your body, your life, and your livelihood all depend on the way you work.
And every single one of those things can improve dramatically when you do less.
Seems counterintuitive, I know, but you’ve already tried doing more and you know where that gets you, so join me for the workshop and we’ll see what happens when you try something new.
(Hint: You’ll save time and energy, plus get better results with less stress.)

About Your Workshop Host

Hi! I’m Kate Northrup, creator of Origin®,

mother of two, bestselling author, and entrepreneur committed to helping women light up the world without burning themselves out. I specialize in supporting womyn entrepreneurs to manage their time with ease and grace, so they can thrive personally and professionally without sacrificing the people they love (including themselves).

From growing an audience of over 200K, publishing two books, launching online courses, growing a seven-figure company, producing a weekly podcast downloaded by thousands, and running my business with my husband while parenting two kids under four, I've had to test-drive my material on a very full life, and I'm happy to report...it works! Last year I was able to take a 5-month maternity leave, my husband unexpectedly took 8+ months off, and our business remained solid. Plus, we even grew our revenue a little while taking time to tend to our growing family and our health.

I'm so excited to share with you this new paradigm of relating to work, life, and time that's grounded in data and proven by my lived experience and that of thousands of other women in the Do Less and Get Better Results Workshop.
